Based in the Derbyshire countryside Blue Sky Aeromodellers are a well established model aircraft club focusing on radio control of fixed wing and helicopter models.
With a capped membership ample flying time is available 7 days a week, dawn to dusk, through the use of our three club fields.
Indoor flying is also supported with fortnightly meetings in a local drill hall.
Novices are welcome with instructors available for both fixed wing and helicopters who are able to take students through all levels of the BMFA proficiency scheme.
We are also able to offer trial flights to allow people to get a taste of the hobby. We also have club trainers available for members to use initially while they obtain their own equipment.
